Your role
In this central position, you will lead they way to a proactive and well-functioning global Risk prevention work and operation of our Management system. A work that is always raised from the current or future business needs and aim to keep Kanthal in the forefront of how to manage a business efficiently.
Risk
Overall responsible for managing the areas of internal control, compliance, Enterprice Risk Management (ERM) in collaboration with your colleagues globally. Initially, your main task will be to, based on the Alleima framework, adjust and further develop the Kanthal framework and way of working for the organization to manage risks, including an analysis of risk profile, future risks and the financial impact of potential risks. Other respnsibilities will be
· Continousdevelopment of the risk area
· Ensure risk awareness among staff and support organization through coaching and training
· Maintance and development of our audit process
Governance
Establish effecient ways of working that support local units’ awareness, ownership and implementation of our set of policies and procedures related to our business core processes, such as environmental performance, health and safety, operational efficiency, finance, purschasing and sales. With our aim to grow our business into new exciting areas, extra focus is needed on establishing a solid quality system integrated in all steps from business opportunity to full production.
This position will also be host responsible for operational resources within EHS and quality.
By keeping a holistic and agile approach, you optimize both methodologies and ways of working that will enhance our performance and competence in the area. You are constantly in a dialogue with our business units to understand the requirements from current and future needs, in addition to keeping a good understanding of external trends.
You report directly to the President of Kanthal and are an active member of our management team. International travel is included in your job.
About you
We are looking for you who have a relevant academic degree and previous experience in risk management and have developed new developing ways of working with management systems in a stock listed company. If you have experience from project management or other leading roles, we see it as a merit. As this position has international exposure, you need to have strong communication skills in English to build relationships and collaborate with people from all over the world.
To thrive in this position, you need to be supportive, responsive, driven and show great attention to details. In addition, you are used to planning and organizing your work in a structured way and you adopt a service-oriented practical approach to both support and ensure compliance. You must have a good business sense and are recognized as a promoter of great partnerships with internal as well as external stakeholders. You are result-oriented and successful by being an inclusive and inspiring leader and colleague.
