The Global Business Strategy and Marketing department at Kanthal is a truly diverse and international team supporting our business in building new relationships with the target group and creating awareness about our offering in various industries. Working with marketing calls for always being one step ahead in understanding trends, competition, buying behaviour and customer satisfaction, and that’s why we’re now looking for an E-commerce manager to join us in challenging the status quo to strengthen the KANTHAL® brand.


Your Role
In this position, you’re responsible for managing and developing our e-commerce platform and grow online sales. You manage the e-commerce platform and ensure efficient lead generation, and you do this through both strategic and operational efforts related to our platforms and website architecture in terms of design, functionality, structure, and usability. Your core responsibilities in this role:
Develop the e-commerce platform by adding more parts from our product portfolio, more geographical regions in order to grow the digital sales
Tracking and analysing user trends and implementing new functionalities and design features to enhance user experience as well as to attract and retain customers.
Ensuring excellent return on our investments as our conversion of interactions on the website and e-commerce platforms gives us valuable insights.
Collaborate with different functions within the team and stakeholders such as global product managers, sales areas, IT, and external agencies, and manage various projects within your field, follow up and ensure delivery on targets.
Driving improvements and keep us innovative and in the frontline of online sales.



The location for this position is flexible between our Swedish site in Hallstahammar (Sweden) and any of our other sites in Sweden.


About You
We’re looking for someone with experience from e-commerce platforms and growing online sales through e-commerce, as well as knowledge of digital platforms, lead generation and lead conversion. With your sales skills you have the tenacity to thrive, innovate and propel exceptional growth. You have experience in sales process and order handling in ERP systems, CRM systems and marketing automation systems along with Google ads. Experience from chat tools or chatbots we consider as an extra bonus. We also believe you have a relevant university degree for the role, and as we are a global company, you need excellent communication skills in English.

With our heating technology, we help industrial companies to achieve fossil-free value chains by electrifying their heating processes, removing emissions completely if renewable energy is used. As a Content Creator at Kanthal, you will contribute to this green shift.


Your Role
In this role you are part of our small but growing Marketing Communications team of three people and report to the Global Marketing Communications Manager. Your focus is on creating and developing brand building and conversion driven marketing content for our organic and paid digital channels to grow our business in existing and new market segments.
In close collaboration with colleagues from Sales, Product Management and Research & Development you write inspiring stories, newsletter texts and social media posts but also technical pieces such as product descriptions and material knowledge content. You edit, publish, and distribute the content on our web site, through our marketing automation system and on our social media platforms, and make sure that all published texts are SEO-proof. Reading and analyzing statistics to constantly improve the result based on data is a natural part of your work. You develop and are the owner of the content strategy and -plan, and together with the team and external parties you develop campaign strategies.
Key work tasks:
- Write inspiring content for paid and organic digital channels
- Own the main search engines through continuous SEO work
- Keep the content strategy and -plan current and relevant
- Edit, publish, and distribute in digital channels: web, social media, newsletter
- Work with marketing automation streams
- Define relevant KPI’s and measure results to ensure a data driven approach

About You
You’re a native English writer at heart, but don’t just want to write, but master the whole process of content creation. Your foundation is a university degree in marketing, journalism or similar with several years in similar roles, or you’re a copywriter or journalist that wants to broaden your experience. You’re curious and eager to dig into complex topics and have a natural sense for picking up interesting angles of things. You believe that SEO is almost as important as creative writing for a text to reach through the noise.
Your personality truly makes the difference. You are purpose-driven, curious, inclusive, and committed, and challenge both colleagues and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
