Your Role
You are a valued member of the Business Unit’s Sales and Marketing management team.
Your role is to drive critical business development initiatives from opportunity identification and idea generation, to successful execution including product and process development and the sell-in to market.
You take the lead of cross functional teams comprising of professional experts in their field and with your expertise and drive ensure that we reach our goals.
Responsibilities include:
- With your constant curiosity you will conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs and the competitive landscape. And for transforming knowledge into strategy.
- Driving key business development activities by leading stakeholders in cross functional teams.
- Identification and documentation of value creation connected with Business- and Technical marketing.
- Support the sell-in processes by participating in pre/post-sale visits.
- With your eagerness to develop sustainable businesses you will be responsible for driving pricing management, conducting pricing analysis, updating pricing tools and engaging stakeholders.
When it comes to location, we are open for the ideal candidate. Our main organization and manufacturing footprint is in Hallstahammar Sweden, and it is therefore highly preferable that the candidate be situated here.
About You
For this role we are looking for someone who have a background in engineering, preferably mechanical or materials, as the job requires for you to understand complex applications and manufacturing principles connected to our customers products and processes.
The role is about managing initiatives and leading teams, without direct reported resources, requiring you to have strong leadership abilities across different levels of stakeholders. You have a strong business acumen allowing you to understand financial and market metrics and what is required to successfully develop new business's.
To be able to perform the role we see that you are self-sufficient and analytic. You are sociable, easily making contacts and building trust and relationships. You have strong presentation skills and feel confident in negotiations.
The business language is English, and it is crucial that you are fluent in speaking and writing to be able to connect both internally and externally. It is preferable that you possess knowledge in Swedish, other meritorious languages include German, Mandarin or Hindi.
As the position include international contacts, the ability for business travel (domestic and international) is required. You also must be comfortable working in Microsoft Office Package.
